Entry: Summer! Sunday, June 27, 2004

Hey everyone! Well I can certainly keep promises, can't I? lol OK, well, this time, I won't promise anything, but I'll try to keep it up.

Soooo... lessee. School's out, but it seems like I have tons of work to do still. I only finished 6 out of the 10 questions on my english final, but Mr. Sanford gave me an 80, which gave me a 90 year average (THANK YOU MR. SANFORD!!!). I did pretty well on all my other ones. Model UN team is on hiatus (did I use that correctly?) at the moment because its summer. Spreaking of which, my fall lineup currently includes: Boy Scouts, jazz band (if I get in), math team, modal UN team, Shakespeare, marching band, Student Advisory Council, and extracurricular AP Chem classes. Ouch. I'm also unable to take spanish IV next year, so I'm probably gonna be a Spanish aide and take it at Merrimack with Bryant (he had the same problem) in the spring. I just realized that this paragraph  has no cohesive thought, but what the hell, this isn't English class. Right now I have to do a ton of summer work. I gotta do AP chem crap, my eagle scout project, and do a bunch of merit badges. This is going to be one busy summer.

On another note, some craziness has been going on in my personal life: I'm not gonna get into details (dontcha hate it when people tease you like that?) but if you want to know ask me. Let's just pray everything works out allright.

Now, on an Eb (get it? different note? haha! nevermind. It's 1 in the morning) my faith in Christianity has been restored somewhat by Saskla. She is a devout Christian, and unlike my previous (and rash) generalization, she seems to be an extremely wonderful person in general. In fact, I think that her faith and love should be used as an example by the rest of Christianity. In short: she's cool.

Not too much more for right now, but some good quotes to leave you with:

Now, your brother John is the perfect soldier: he's strong and stupid.
                                                                      -Pippin

We're like peanut butter and jelly: you're the peanut butter.
                                                           -Roman (to me)

P.S.- that last quote led to an interesting discussion about putting the peanut butter on the bread before putting the halves of the sandwich together, and whether I was smooth, chunky, or extra chunky. I welcome any opinions on what style of peanut butter I am :-)

<3 Emily
